Even with the ever-shifting media landscape The Australian Magazine Awards (AMAs) have been hugely successful and well received, providing the Australian magazine publishers with the opportunity to be rewarded and recognised for their excellence and innovation.

Since this independent program launched in 2009 the Australian Magazine Awards have become credible, respected and vital to recognizing success within this field.

Year on year, Two de Force work diligently with AdNews reshaping the awards and categories to sync the AMAs with the industry; what it is doing and how it is working. This level of meticulousness ensures our event is a success each year and enjoyed by all who attend.

This year the 2017 Australian Magazine Awards were held in the chic and stylish Piper Room at The Ovolo Woolloomooloo Hotel, hosted by the brilliantly witty James Valentine.

Breakfast Mimosa's, barista style coffee carts and juice bar welcomed guests as they arrived. The networking section of the event meant that all guests were well hydrated and well acquainted before formalities commenced.

The room was set in Cabaret Style to allow each guest an unfettered view of the stage. Each table was pre-set with a delectable sharing boards consisting of freshly baked Danishes finely sliced prosciutto, salami and hams with cheese accompaniments. Followed by table drops of a selection of delicious warm breakfast.

Two de Force liaised with all sponsors to ensure that they're presence at the Awards was showcased. Certain levels of sponsorship included presenting awards to winners, as well as physical promotional materials, and branding on the Awards presentation.

The Awards showcased 25 categories, including the all-important Magazine Brand of the Year category, awarded to taste.com.au and the Hall of Fame Award, with this year’s inductee being the talented Eric Beecher.
