Two de Force organised the hire of the ARA Darling Quarter Theatre (affectionally known as monkey baa) to host the 2021 Sydney L!VE series for Yaffa Media. The prospect of having three events in two days can be a little daunting but after the year everyone has had, we couldn’t have been more excited to get people together again in one space!
Not quite over the pandemic just yet, Covid-19 tried to dampen the enthusiasm with a snap lockdown in Victoria. Whilst not ideal, the team were prepared and promptly organised for our Melbourne based speakers to participate from the comfort of their own homes.
There were 3 events in the series; Ragtrader who provide news, analysis and opinion on Australia’s clothing, footwear and accessories sector; AdNews, the trade title that services the advertising, media, marketing and technology industries and then Paint & Panel who provide informative and entertaining content to autobody and paint shop industry workers throughout Australia. Three vastly different brands and audiences.
We managed all three events from beginning to end. That includes the budget, ticket sales, creative elements, styling and AV. Two de Force was the point of contact for speakers, sponsors, suppliers and guests. No easy feat, all up we had 50 speakers, 17 sponsors and over 450 guests. To add to that, we had just an hour to pack down the first event (sponsor installations included) and set up for the next which was at full guest capacity.
