This year the Paint and Panel Bodyshop Awards were bigger and better than ever! We returned to Melbourne Arts Centre for the 2nd year in a row and hosted finalists who had flown in from all over the country to celebrate their achievements.
It was a full house with more than 200 guests attending this year’s event. The audience was made up of 23 finalists along with their support teams cheering them on. This year, Sports commentator and Australian cricket legend Damien Fleming entertained guests as our MC. State winners, Best Practice recipients and National winners were recognised and celebrated well into the night.
The Paint and Panel Bodyshop Awards were the fourth and final event of a back to back series of events within 48 hours. Two de Force managed a line-up of L!VE conferences and finished the week off with the much anticipated Bodyshop Awards. We were responsible for looking after the needs of 12 sponsors and 216 attendees, working closely with the venue management staff, audio visual team and coordinating with other various event suppliers.
With only a couple hours between events; Two de Force were on the ball ensuring the short turn around was on track and under control as we flipped the room from a cabaret style conference to a gala dinner banquet for a full house. We managed everything from the awards, guest lists, script and event schedule to the event design.
The Paint and Panel Bodyshop Awards are the only leading industry event that recognise and celebrate smash repairers and autobody shops across the country. We are proud to manage such a successful and ever-growing awards program and look forward to 2020… which is expected to be even bigger!
